Heavenly Father, thank You for this International Workers' Day.
Father, You provide us with everything we need to sustain this body and life.
Have compassion on those whose ability or opportunity to work has been
taken away, and keep them from anger, despair, and hopelessness.
As they learn to lean on You during their time of trial, bring them
a stronger faith and deeper understanding. Grant them the joy
of meaningful and fulfilling employment. In Jesus' name. Amen.
